Trace Lounge Chair

TAIT: Design Adam Goodrum

Product Information

A new classic, Trace delivers an unconditional level of longevity, function and comfort to outdoor design. The multi-faceted series, incorporating modular lounge settings and accessories, aligns brave design detail, inspired colour palettes and a dynamic play of materials.

The Trace Sofa, Trace Armchair and Trace Modular showcase Trace’s robust, tubular aluminium frame, connected to legs in textured powder-coated aluminium or sustainable timber. A flexible wire netting attached by a series of rivets supports Trace’s low, deep seat and high back cushioning. Trace Modular’s functional units, including central and corner modules (with the option of a fixed side table), can be arranged in varying configurations. A laser-cut chair and sofa base ensures water drainage in the event of heavy rainfall.

The Trace Coffee Table can be selected in circular or rectangular form and in two heights. Table top materials include slatted Accoya or Cambia timber or marbled porcelain, in black or white. The collection further incorporates the Trace Drinks Trolley and the Trace Planter, available in two widths and exhibiting Trace’s signature woven wire mesh to function as a planter, living wall or subsequent screen.

Trace’s expert craftsmanship and employment of high-performance materials ensures its longevity and function within harsh coastal, tropical and poolside conditions. Materials include exterior-grade aluminium, stainless steel mesh, sustainable timbers, marbled porcelain materials, thermoplastic (protective feet) and rubber (wheel trim). Trace incorporates various luxurious woven fabrics including chenille and linen. Four textured exterior-grade powder coat finishes have also been selected to complement the collection.

Trace caters to architects and designers seeking exceptional design and comfort with a versatility to suit a range of exterior and interior settings. With a tailored poise, Trace aligns to both residential and commercial applications; notably design hotels, modern corporate spaces, expansive restaurants and rooftop bars.
